Are you interested in policies that are ready for the digital age? The Digital-ready Policymaking initiative provides guidelines, tools, and community resources that help policymakers design legislation aligned with digital principles. 

Would you like to assess the interoperability impact of a digital public service? The Interoperability Assessments space on the Portal provides guidance, tools, reports and practical resources to help stakeholders implement interoperability assessments as introduced by the Interoperable Europe Act.

Would you like to share your interoperability solution on the Portal? The EU Interoperability Solutions Catalogue provides a single entry point to discover reusable software, services, standards and other interoperability solutions that support the development of European digital public services. Also, the Portal hosts a specific set of interoperability Solutions, named Interoperable Europe Solutions that are recommended by the Interoperable Europe Board and that match its needs and priorities for building better interoperable digital public services.

  • Publish your interoperability solution: Share and manage your interoperability solution on the EU Interoperability Solutions Catalogue to increase its visibility, promote reuse and support interoperable digital public services across Europe.
  • Get the Interoperable Europe label for your solution: Propose your solution for evaluation by the Board. Solutions that successfully complete the evaluation process receive the official “Interoperable Europe Solution” label, ensuring recognition and promoting adoption by public administrations across the EU.

Would you like to share or reuse open-source solutions for public services? Are you interested in open-source knowledge and reuse guidance for the public sector?

The EU Open Source Solutions Catalogue (OSS Catalogue) supports the visibility, sharing and reuse of open-source software solutions developed by or for public-sector bodies across Europe. Additionally, the Open Source Observatory (OSOR) space on the Portal provides trustworthy, free and open-source software expertise, information, knowledge resources and community connections for public administrations and open-source stakeholders.

Would you you like to know how to better design interoperable digital public services? The Interoperability Architecture Solutions space on the Portal provides public administrations with reference architectures, design methodologies, and interoperability building blocks to support the development of interoperable digital public services and the alignment with European interoperability frameworks and standards.

Would you like to improve semantic interoperability and data reuse? SEMIC Support Centre aims to help public administrations exchange data seamlessly across borders. It functions as a collaborative hub for sharing data models, vocabularies, and best practices to make digital public services more connected and efficient.

  • Request to organise a twinning exercise: Participate in a peer exchange with another EU administration to discuss interoperability challenges, share experiences, and learn from proven approaches and real-world use cases. 

  • Request to organise a Roadshow: Host an event in your country that brings together national interoperability stakeholders, experts and EU representatives to exchange knowledge, explore solutions, and strengthen cooperation on digital transformation and interoperability.

Are you interested in a specific Portal community? You can: 

  • Become a member: Click "Join this collection" or "Subscribe to this solution" to stay informed and receive updates.
  • Publish content: Propose news, events, reports and become an active member of the community. 
  • Receive notifications: Decide what type of updates and how often you would like to receive them. 
  • Be directly invited to events: Receive direct invitation to all events organised by that community. 

The Portal has three Catalogues of Solutions; you can propose Solutions to be hosted under each of them: 

  • EU Interoperability Solutions Catalogue: Create an interoperability Solution on the Portal by following these steps. 
  • Interoperable Europe Solutions Catalogue: Propose interoperability solutions to be labelled “Interoperable Europe solutions” here.
  • EU Open Source Solutions Catalogue: The EU OSS Catalogue aggregates open source software developed by or for public sector bodies across the EU. To learn how to contribute and whether your solution is eligible, visit the EU OSS Catalogue About page. For further information, do not hesitate to contact us.
