Across Europe, public administrations are increasingly exploring how artificial intelligence (AI) can help them deliver better services to citizens, businesses, and public servants. This dedicated section brings together news, tools, guidance and events related to the design and governance of AI in the public sector and supports the implementation of the Apply AI Strategy, which helps public administrations adopt AI responsibly and in a practical way.
It also aims to strengthen interoperability, support innovation in public services, and contribute to a common European approach to the use of AI in government by promoting knowledge sharing, collaboration, and the exchange of best practices among Member States, notably through the AI Toolbox for the European public sector. The section supports the implementation of policy objectives by promoting reusable solutions that can be applied across public administrations in Europe.
