All contributions are subject to review and moderation by the platform administrators. The Portal reserves the right to refuse or remove content that does not meet the below criteria or violates the platform's policies.

  • Public sector relevance: Content must be directly related to public sector interoperability, open-source solutions, digital government, or related EU initiatives. Contributions from public administrations, businesses, and individuals involved in these fields are eligible.
  • Originality: All content must be original, or you must have the necessary rights or permissions to publish the material. Content that violates intellectual property rights is prohibited.
  • Quality and accuracy: Content must be clear, well-structured, and provide accurate, up-to-date information. Contributors should ensure that any factual statements are verifiable and supported by appropriate references.
  • No offensive or harmful material: Content should not contain defamatory, offensive, or harmful material. Contributions should respect diverse viewpoints and avoid hate speech or personal attacks.
  • Privacy compliance: Ensure that your content respects privacy laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Do not post personal data unless you have the explicit consent of the individual concerned or the data is anonymised.
  • Legal compliance: All published content must comply with applicable EU and national laws, including those related to intellectual property, data protection, and public order.
  • No commercial promotion: The platform does not allow content that is overtly commercial or promotional in nature. Contributions should focus on knowledge sharing, best practices, and public benefit rather than advertising products or services.
  • Appropriate licensing: Any content you share, including software or documentation, must be published under appropriate open licences (e.g., European Union Public Licence (EUPL)) or other compatible licences, ensuring reuse and adaptation by other users.
  • Relevance to platform objectives: Contributions should align with the objectives of the Interoperable Europe Portal, supporting the sharing and reuse of interoperability solutions and best practices within the EU public sector.
