What is GovTech Connect?

GovTech Connect is an initiative linked to Public Sector Tech Watch and dedicated to exploring and disseminating the world of GovTech in Europe. This Collection offers a comprehensive look at the evolving GovTech landscape - from tracking innovative initiatives and best practices in its implementation to providing reports and market studies. While it delivers also targeted insights for startups, its content is designed for anyone invested in the future of government technology.

What is GovTech4All?

GovTech4All is the first round of implementation of the GovTech4All Framework Partnership Agreement, supported by the Digital Europe programme.

GovTech4All unites 21 GovTech organisations across 14 European countries to establish a cohesive European GovTech community and market through innovative procurement processes, facilitating startup access and promoting cross-border reuse of the best solutions for government adoption.

In this vein, the project focuses on implementing three pilot projects:

Securing information in cross-border data spaces
Assisting EU citizens in obtaining social benefits with personal regulation assistants
A startup challenge for innovative procurement.

A collaborative ecosystem

Managed by the European Commission, GovTech Connect is linked to the Public Sector Tech Watch project, to create a robust ecosystem for innovation. While PSTW primarily supports public sector leaders and academia with comprehensive analysis and insights, GovTech Connect is more targeted towards startups and SMEs, to connect them with public sector partners and drive public sector digitisation.
