Overview

Twenty is an open-source customer relationship management (CRM) application. It manages people, organisations, opportunities, tasks, notes and related records. Its data model can be extended with custom objects and fields.

Needs addressed

Public administrations, public-service teams and other organisations can use Twenty to replace spreadsheets or proprietary CRM tools when managing stakeholder, supplier, partner or service-user relationships. It can be deployed on infrastructure controlled by the adopting organisation.

Twenty provides configurable views, workflows, permissions, dashboards, email and calendar integrations, REST and GraphQL APIs, and webhooks.

Intended audience and reuse

The software is intended for organisations that need a configurable CRM and have the capacity to operate or procure web application hosting. Source code and reuse instructions are available at https://github.com/twentyhq/twenty and deployment documentation is available at https://docs.twenty.com. Docker-based self-hosting is supported.

Interoperability and licensing

REST and GraphQL APIs and webhooks support integration with other systems. Data can be imported and exported in standard formats. Most of the repository is licensed under the GNU Affero General Public License version 3 with an additional permission; some packages use the MIT licence.

Policy contribution

For public-sector reuse, source availability, self-hosting and documented APIs can support organisational control, auditability and reduced dependency on a single managed service. Twenty is a general-purpose application rather than an official implementation of an EU policy or interoperability standard.
