This first Learn-by-doing report focuses on the reporting phase of interoperability assessments, where results are documented, submitted, and published in line with the Interoperable Europe Act. It explains how public administrations can meet key reporting requirements, such as ensuring reports are complete, machine-readable, published, and shared electronically with the Interoperable Europe Board; by using a set of tools developed by the European Commission.
The report provides an overview of the main solutions supporting this phase, including the Online Assessment Tool, the Interoperability Assessments Vocabulary, the Assessments API, and the Report Repository. It also shows how these tools work together to support a consistent, efficient, and scalable reporting process; and shares practical insights and guiding principles, helping to improve both the tools and their use across the EU.
