ELAP is the European Library of Architecture Principles whose aim is to provide the different digital public administrations with the architecture principles needed to achieve interoperability within their public services.
The principles are qualified based on their applicability, usefulness and their legal or regulatory basis and pursue to aid IT architects involved in the IT programs to ensure full compliance with the European Regulatory Framework.
In this new release, some modifications have been made in respect of the last version of ELAP v.1.2.0 having added new principles such as “Digital Sovereignty and Autonomy”, “Digital Partnership” or “Digital first” and some others being removed or slightly modified to be more concise. In this release, 42 architecture principles along with their definitions can be found.
