The Interoperability Architecture collection offers different guidelines to explain the alignment between the EIRA© and other models:
Guideline
Description
The EIRA© is aligned with the European Interoperability Framework (EIF) and complies with the context given in the European Interoperability Framework - Implementation Strategy (EIF-IS). In fact, the views of the EIRA© correspond to the interoperability levels in the EIF: Legal, Organisational, Semantic and Technical (Application and Infrastructure).
Though this guideline, the EIRA© is used to describe The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF®) v9.1 Architecture Development Method (ADM) cycle, an interoperability standard. For instance, it re-uses terminology and paradigms from the TOGAF® such as architecture patterns, building blocks and views.
The Public Administration Architecture Framework (PAAF) model is intended to be a starting point for developing an Enterprise Architecture for any Public Administration. This model is published by the Public Governance Institute of KU Leuven and it is aimed at modelling a complete Public Administration using an Enterprise Architecture Framework.
The EIRA© team has carried out a Quality Review aimed to analyse the potential alignment of PAAF with other models, such as EIRA©, thus identifying useful guidelines and examples for mutual synergy.
Designing solution architectures involves precisely modelling alternative (EXOR) and aggregation (AND) Solution Building Blocks. These elements are crucial for establishing relationships and constraints within the architecture, ensuring a coherent implementation aligned with business objectives.
These guidelines shows how to effectively model alternative and aggregation building blocks in a solution model.
