The “Free and Open Source Software for Geospatial” conference FOSS4G 2021 took place online and in Buenos Aires during September 27-October 2, 2021.This conference is held annually in a different city since 2004.

Objectives

The conference advocates for Free and Open Source Software for Geospatial applications. The presentation introduces the efforts undertaken by the INSPIRE Directive and the JRC in sharing and making geospatial data interoperable at the pan-European level, and presents the main components of the so-called INSPIRE central infrastructure components.
