Free and open source for a free society, University Lyon 2, France

One of the main founders of the free and open source movement, Richard Stallman, will be giving several presentations in France in January 2010. On 13 January he is presenting at the Lyon 2 University, talking about why and how free software is an essential part of a free society, and how it contributes to the empowerment of individuals in an increasingly digital world.

Stallman will also be speaking in Paris on 12 January, Grenoble on 14 January and Autrans, on 15 January.
