The Regional Ministry of Education in Valencia provides more than 200 educational resources with LliureX for Kids version 10.09.
The Department of Education has created a software package installation for easy download of over 200 educational resources offered by LliureX for Kids version 10.09. LliureX is an initiative which aims to "promote teachers’, families’ and schools’ access to a wide variety of educational materials."
As reported by the government in a statement, the new version of LliureX has registered 21 828 downloads since November 2010 when it was presented as part of the Fourth Congress of Free Software and started its distribution in the region.
More specifically, 3 617 users have downloaded the LliureX for Kids, 7 531 the Desktop version and 3 272 the Classroom Model or Centre version.
Moreover, the Music and Library adaptations counted 4 637 and 471 downloads respectively, while the light version has been downloaded 2 300 times.
The main novelty of LliureX 10.09 is the inclusion of a centralised architecture model that meets the needs of connection and operation of all computers at school and includes both computer classrooms and the rest of workstations.
