Replace adms:version by owl:versionInfo

adms:version is no longer part of the adms vocabulary and should be removed or replaced (in our experience datasets only receive a version once they have been updated, the original version often does not have a version)

Proposed solution

  • Replace adms:version by owl:versionInfo

What about versionNotes? I guess adms will drop them as well. If not or if we keep it in another way, I wonder why the cardinality of the notes was 0..1, so there is no way to provide them in different languages.

ADMS will not drop adms:versionNotes, see http://www.w3.org/TR/vocab-adms/#adms-versionnotes.

Your comment about cardinality is correct. This should be 0..n to allow for parallel language versions. This will be corrected in the draft that we're working on for distribution next week.
