On 7 May 2025 from 14:00 until 16:00 CEST, the first working group for the LDES Working Group was held.

The objective of this session was to discuss a variety of working points identified based on the GitHub issues present in the LDES repository.
The overview of the topics discussed during this first working group: 

• Prepare the rewrite of the spec towards a consumer perspective
• Retention policy
• How to initialise a consumer, including a formal definition of ldes:EventSource
• Creating a SHACL shape for an LDES
