This course offers an overview of the GovTech ecosystem, particularly through the point of view of the European Commission’s GovTech Connect pilot project, covering the concept of GovTech itself, and the related GovTech Connect community hosted on the Interoperable Europe Portal.

The primary target audience for this course includes:

• Start-ups and SMEs
• Public buyers
• Interoperable Europe Portal community members
• Public sector and policymaker stakeholders at all levels (i.e. EU/Central Public Administration/municipal/regional levels)
• Academics
• Students of EU or public policy

• Get to know the project’s definition of GovTech
• Understand the GovTech ecosystem in EU (and beyond) and the benefits it can bring to startups/SMEs and PS
• Discover GovTech Connect and be able to use the Interoperable Europe Portal
