
The Interoperable Europe Academy has just released a new Peer-Learning Policy Brief: Getting started with setting up a smart city.
This brief provides a practical guidance for local governments in less digitally advanced cities to begin their smart city journey. Developed with input from experts involved in European Commission initiatives, it offers a structured, high-level approach to navigating the often complex smart city ecosystem.

- Accessible tools like LORDIMAS and the Online Helpdesk to support implementation
- Ways to enhance services, sustainability, and citizen well-being through digital innovation
This release is part of a new initiative by the Academy - Peer-Learning Policy Briefs - designed to boost digital government policy implementation across Europe. These briefs promote knowledge sharing, capacity building, and the reuse of good practices by showcasing reusable solutions to challenges faced by public administrations.
