The Seasonal School 2025 took place from 13th to 15th of May 2025, hosted online by the Interoperable Europe Academy.

The event was held under the theme “New skills for a successful Interoperable Europe”. Over three days, the programme combined panel discussions, case studies and interactive breakout sessions addressing key aspects of the Interoperable Europe Act, including the role of the Academy, cross‑border interoperability governance, interoperability assessments, sharing and reuse through the Interoperable Europe Portal, and innovation instruments such as GovTech and regulatory sandboxes. The event provided a platform for public administrations to exchange experiences, share good practices, and reflect on the skills and capacities needed to address real‑world interoperability challenges across all levels of administration.

The Interoperable Europe Academy 2024 took place on the 11th and 12th of April 2024 at KU Leuven in hybrid mode.

This two-day event included discussions about the new Interoperable Europe Act and the changes it will bring. Lectures, workshops and panels that provided participants with practical and theoretical insights on interoperability enablers, like the European Interoperability Framework,  interoperability assessments and the overarching interoperability governance. The practical aspect focused on interoperability deliverables such as Data Spaces and Smart Cities as well as the use of emerging technologies like AI in public administrations.
