NethServer is an easy to manage, CentOS based Linux distribution that aims to make the life of a sysadmin easier. It is highly modular and features a continuously expanding set of services.
Base modules are:
- DNS
- DHCP
- Fileserver
- Gateway
- LDAP and Samba4 Accountproviders
- Mailserver
- Printserver
- VoIP PBX
Currently several services especially aimed at educational purposes are being developed by the community. Examples of these modules are:
- Moodle electronic learning environment
- SavaPage Libre Print management environment
- Nextcloud
- OnlyOffice cloud office application
NethServer supports both (Open)LDAP and Sambe4 AD account providers. They can be installed locally or connected to remotely.
