This release updates the check on date of birth for Maltese and Greek citizens to comply with the evolution of their national legislation related to voting age at the European elections.
Rules related to the voting age are now:
Signatories must be EU citizens (nationals of a member state) old enough to vote in European Parliament elections (18 years old, except in Austria & Malta where the voting age is 16, and Greece where the voting age is 17).
