EIRA Library of Interoperability Specifications (ELIS)*
The EIRA Library of Interoperability Specifications (ELIS) is an Artifact that links the EIRA architectural building blocks (ABBs) to the standards and specifications that can be used to implement Solution Building Blocks based on those EIRA ABBs. The aim of this library is to support solutions architects when modelling using EIRA.
The EIRA Library of Interoperability Specifications (ELIS) is a CAMSS Solutions aimed specifically at fostering interoperability in the architecture of digital services. EIRA (European Interoperability Reference Architecture) provides a comprehensive set of guidelines and specifications that are essential for developing interoperable systems. ELIS, as a component of EIRA, serves as a curated library of interoperability specifications. It supports the implementation of EIRA by offering a collection of technical standards, interoperability specifications, and best practices designed to guide the development of interoperable digital government services. ELIS ensures that the architectural components and services adhere to common standards, making them capable of seamless communication and data exchange across different IT systems.
The ELIS is also available through a SPARQL endpoint (http://publications.europa.eu/webapi/rdf/sparql ), and you can launch the query and retrieve the data.
About the Common Assessment Method for Standards and Specifications (CAMSS)
CAMSS is the European guide for assessing and selecting standards and specifications for an eGovernment project, a reference when building an architecture, and an enabler for justifying the choice of standards and specifications in terms of interoperability needs and requirements. It is fully aligned with the European Standardisation Regulation 1025/2012.
*This is a continuous work CAMSS develops as a regular basis for the development of different solutions, however, it could not directly reflect the latest status due to maintenance and enhancement. It is a work in progress to identify different EU legislation and policies regarding the digitalisation of public services and the establishment of standardisation initiatives.
