How to engage with existing content on the Portal

The Interoperable Europe Portal is a valuable resource for accessing and utilising various interoperability tools, frameworks, and guidelines across Europe. 

This article explains the step-by-step on how to engage with existing content on the Portal.

To engage with existing content on the Portal you need to be logged in, find the content item you wish to engage with, and lastly, add a comment, a like, or create and participate in a discussion around that topic. 

  1. Register or Sign In: To interact with content, you need to be signed in.
  2. Finding Content: Find the content you wish to interact with, either by browsing on the platform; by using the advanced search; by finding Portal's content on social media; etc. More information on how to find and discover content on the Portal can be found here.
  3. Engage with existing content on the platform: You may do so by adding comments and likes, or by creating and participating in discussions:

Open a content item and scroll to the bottom to find the comment section. Enter your thoughts and post the comment.

Add a like

Click the "like" button, usually located near the title or at the bottom of the content item

Participate in a discussion

Navigate in the "Discussions" section under the Support Centre. Join existing threads leaving a comment at the bottom of the discussion where you will find the section to add a comment. Discussions are not only available under the Support Centre, but also under specific solutions and collections. 

Create a discussion

  • Go on the Collection under which you would like to create a Discussion.
  • Click on the orange plus button.
  • Fill in the necessary information, i.e. title, content, etc.
  • Click the “Publish” button (bottom right part of the page). Your discussion will be published under the collection on which you created it.
