Survey Deadline Extended to Friday, 20th September!
We are extending the deadline for the ongoing survey on the use of Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) within EU public administrations to Friday, 20th September 2024.
This survey is a vital tool to understand the current needs and challenges around FOSS, as well as to gauge interest in forming a European-wide user group for open source software.
Survey Details
The survey asks about your role, country, and government level, as well as your current use of FOSS. It also addresses the challenges you face, potential solutions, areas for collaboration, and the possible benefits of creating a user group. We are also keen to hear whether your administration has an Open Source Programme Office.
Target Audience
This survey is intended for public administration representatives with knowledge of FOSS, including IT professionals, software developers, security experts, and legal advisors, particularly those focused on business applications.
Your input will help shape an upcoming workshop in October 2024, where we will discuss the formation of a collaborative user group to tackle open source issues across EU public bodies.
Please share this reminder with your colleagues to ensure we gather as many responses as possible.
Thank you for your participation!
