An International Research and Practice Conference on open source software will be held in early February in Lviv, Ukraine.

The International Research and Practice Conference “FOSS Lviv-2011” will take place in Ivan Franko National University of Lviv between 1 and 4 February 2011.

The conference targets the use of Free/Open software in education, science, business and at home.

The conference's working languages are Ukrainian, Russian, Belarusian, Polish and English. The conference is sponsored by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and co-organised by the Ivan Franko National University of L’viv, the National Pedagogical Dragomanov University, the Brest State Technical University and others.
