MAI2: Mapping DCAT-AP to CKAN

The main aggregator of DCAT-AP-compliant metadata is the European Data Portal. They are using a CKAN installation as the back-end.

The way that they are creating the mapping from DCAT-AP to CKAN may help other implementers that use CKAN in importing DCAT-AP-compliant metadata from other catalogues.

The DCAT-AP CKAN extension made by EDP must be coordinated with the DCAT-AP CKAN extension under development by the CKAN Core development team (OKFN) (not happing now), and published for the CKAN adopter community under AGPL license as usually
