Head of Unit IT Governance and Service Management at Eurostat, European Commission 

Titus Purdea joined Eurostat in February 2014, assuming the responsibility over the unit in charge with local IT infrastructure, providing DataCenter and Workplace services for Eurostat users.

Following the transfer of these services towards the internal EC IT provider (DIGIT), he shifted focus of the unit towards implementing the necessary IT Service Management and IT Governance processes in Eurostat for handling the multi-sourced IT delivery model introduced by this transition of responsibilities.
Prior to joining Eurostat, Titus held various management roles within Hewlett Packard Enterprise Services, in the IT Service Management domain, for more than 16 years. His work experience spans across multiple continents, having worked and lived in Canada, Europe and Australia.
