On 9 November 2023, the Joinup Team held the second User Group Meeting of 2023. The meeting was held virtually, and the objectives of the meeting were to present the latest highlights of Joinup, explore Joinup’s content, discuss the future of Joinup and interact with the participants.

During the meeting the Joinup Team presented some interesting Joinup statistics, which included the Joinup users’ monthly increase and metrics such as the total annual page views and visitors. Also, the team provided an overview of the top visited collections and solutions on Joinup, the popularity of the 8 new topics pages and the most liked content on Joinup.
The meeting continued with the presentation of some interesting highlights, such as the new user interface and theme, the new Topics pages, and the presentation of the Interoperable Europe Academy's latest courses. Additional highlights were presented, relevant to content creators and Collection/ Solution managers, such as the Archive feature, and the new Layout Editor for Custom Pages.
The Joinup Team also had the pleasure to welcome two guest speakers, who presented their Joinup-based projects. Stefanos Kotoglou, EC Project Officer of Public Sector Tech Watch, introduced this new initiative on Joinup, which aims to promote knowledge around the use of emerging technologies in the European Public Sector. Stefanos also gave a demo of the Collection, by navigating through the available content features and providing interesting insights to the participants. Robert Riemann then presented the Website Evidence Collector Solution, one of the popular solutions on Joinup, which is a tool that supports the automation of privacy and personal data protection inspections of websites, by collecting evidence of personal data processing, such as cookies, or requests to third parties.
The presentation part of the event concluded with a “Coming soon” section, which provided an overview of the upcoming EU Open-Source Software Catalogue, the Interoperable Europe Support Centre and the Interoperability Solutions Hub.
The participants were then engaged into a short interactive session, were they provided their feedback on Joinup, shared their ideas on how the platform can be improved, and proposed new content and features they would like to see on Joinup.
