This course explores the publiccode.yml metadata specification, aiming to equip participants with the knowledge and skills to implement a publiccode.yml file in an open source solution and be onboarded in the EU OSS Catalogue. The key learning objectives for individuals who complete the training include awareness of publiccode.yml and the importance of standardisation in open source catalogues, an understanding of the link between publiccode.yml and the EU OSS Catalogue, and knowledge of how to implement publiccode.yml and how to get involved in the community.
