Your Input Matters: Study on App Stores under the DSA

Published on: 06/06/2025 News

As part of the ongoing Study on monitoring app store ecosystems under the Digital Services Act (DSA), conducted by Wavestone and Intellera Consulting for the European Commission (DG CNECT), we are promoting two targeted surveys.
These surveys aim to gather valuable insights from key stakeholders to support the Commission’s monitoring activities under the DSA, in particular as regards designated app stores such as Apple App Store and Google Play.

As part of this initiative, two short surveys have been launched to gather insights from key stakeholders:

🔹 1. Survey for App Store Users
Do you represent end-users, consumer organisations, or groups working to protect minors?
We want to hear about your experience—especially around privacy, security, content moderation, algorithms, and complaint mechanisms.

🕒 Takes less than 15 minutes
🔗 Take the survey

🔹 2. Survey for App Developers and Publishers
Are you an app developer, publisher, or representative working with major app stores?
This survey explores your experience with app visibility, lifecycle, moderation, age assurance, and more.

🕒 Takes less than 15 minutes
🔗 Take the survey

All responses are confidential and used solely for research purposes.

📢 We kindly invite you to complete the relevant survey and to share it widely within your networks.
By providing your input, you help advance the main aim of the DSA: ensuring a safe and transparent online environment.

Thank you for your support!
