Our legal interoperability team is committed to promoting relevant events and  bringing to your attention concepts such as Open Source Software!

Three different Open Source events will take place at the beginning of February:

EU open source policy summit

Open Forum Europe’s EU Open-Source Policy Summit 2023, will be held on the 3rd of February 2023. This hybrid event will bring together Open Source and policy experts for speeches and panels on how Europe can benefit from large-scale technological collaboration. Participants can attend in person, if in Brussels, or online.

FOSDEM

On the 4th and 5th of  February 2023, FOSDEM will return for its yearly open source software conference. This free event will provide the perfect opportunity for software developers to  network, exchange ideas, and collaborate. While the event takes place in Brussels, live-streaming links will appear on this page.

OPEN UK

Lastly, on the 7th and 8th of February, OpenUK is delivering its first annual State of Open Con conference organised in association with The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) SA Open. The conference, which will take place in London, will bring together leading UK and international figures in open source software, open data and open hardware. Discussions will centre around the themes of: government, law and policy; security; platform engineering; entrepreneurship; open hardware and open data. Digital attendance is also possible.
