We (the European Commission Legal Interoperability team) are honored to invite you to the May 2022 BLSI virtual breakfast and explore together how the use of Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) can help digital-ready policymaking.
In this context, we have been inspired by a study coming from the Joint Research Centre (JRC) of the European Commission about The role of Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) in data governance and digital coordination, and have invited the authors to present their findings and what is there for policymakers.
The participants will also have the chance to get hands-on experience from the presentation of the Nordic collaboration and development of the NSG&B project where the importance of APIs and the deriving digital-ready policymaking considerations will be highlighted.
In this one-hour workshop on Thursday 05/05/2022 from 09:30 – 10:30 CET, the speakers will share their findings on how APIs and policymaking can support each other to achieve the digital transformation of governments.
- Monica Posada Sanchez and Katarzyna Pogorzelska, Digital Economy Research fellow / Project Officer at Joint Research Centre (JRC), European Commission;
- Kjersti Lunde, NSG&B Programme manager at the Danish Business Authority.
