Guidelines repository Switch to the latest release

Issue

Several initiatives faced similar issues while implementing DCAT-AP. As a consequence, many European, national or regional initiatives respond to this challenge by creating guidelines on how to implement and use DCAT-AP. But the awareness of the existence of those guidelines is quite low, especially cross-country.

Current situation

Various guidelines have been developed by implementers of DCAT-AP. For example at the European-level, guidelines are available from the European Data Portal: Gold Book for Data Publishers.

Recommendation

Implementers of DCAT-AP are asked to share national-regional guidelines that other implementers could look at for inspiration. For this, a small online survey has been created to collect the minimum information required about the guidelines to help other initiatives to implement DCAT-AP in an efficient way. The answers to this survey are automatically integrated in a table accessible for everyone on this Joinup page.

The objective of this page is to gather in a single point of access all the guidelines related to the publication of data and compliant with DCAT-AP. In this perspective, all languages for the guidelines are accepted.
