This report comes from the “Authentication, Authorization and Accounting (AAA) for Data and Services in EU Public Administrations” project launched by the JRC as part of Action 1.17 of the ISA Programme, A Reusable INSPIRE Reference Platform (ARE3NA).  

The report outlines the process of developing key functions of the AAA testbed, adding more detail to D3.3a and the Access Management Federation (AMF) approach. The report focuses on the Coordination Centre (CC), alongside other documents covering setup for an Identity Providers (IdP, who provides access to user identity) and the Shibboleth technology for a Service Provider (SP, who provides access to data).

The main content of the report outlines the resources and prerequisites for the CC setup and instructions for the deployment of a SWITCH Discovery Service. Operational aspects are also covered, including hosting access control metadata (and its generation), provision of a continuous web server as well as firewall settings for the testbed.
