Explanation
Paul van Genuchten asked whether there are mappings of topic category to EuroVoc available. He also proposes to provide common keyword mappings for common INSPIRE vocabularies.
The current GeoDCAT-AP has mappings between EuroVoc, GEMET and the INSPIRE themes which are available at the EU Open Data Portal:
Proposed solution. Aligning topic categories would be an important addition to the GeoDCAT-AP spec. The GeoDCAT-AP WG suggests to discuss about it with the Publications Office.

So far, no alignment has been provided between the ISO 19115 topic categories (see the INSPIRE Registry http://inspire.ec.europa.eu/codelist/TopicCategory) and EuroVoc.
GeoDCAT-AP Draft 7 does mention the following: The Publications Office of the EU has defined and published alignments between EuroVoc and other vocabularies, including those typically used in geospatial metadata – in particular, AGROVOC, GEMET, the INSPIRE themes and the INSPIRE feature concept dictionary. It is worth noting that the use of the INSPIRE themes is a legal obligation in INSPIRE metadata.
