The E-Citizens portal will allow citizens to communicate with the public sector in one place, through the portal. The portal will consolidate information on the work of the government and its ministries. Furthermore, it will provide information about public services and it will provide secure access to electronic services using electronic identity.

Moreover, the law is intended to make the provision and use of data from base registries compulsory. This is done in order to create conditions for the functioning of the "paperless government". An initiative, which will result in the reduction of administrative burden on citizens and businesses. The consultation was open until 19 January of 2014.
