The present project is an offer from the family region of Bamberg, which aims to support working parents in reconciling work and family life. The city and rural district of Bamberg offer a homepage (https://ferienabenteuer-bamberg.de/) where events of the holiday adventure can be viewed and booked comfortably. In doing so, the system does not support parents in the whole registration and booking process, as well as regional providers in managing their offers.
For this purpose, the system has two frontends.
First, the so-called ‘fresh booking’, which is accessible to the public and to the families who are looking for holiday care for their children. Tenders can be booked, cancelled and managed.
For the organisers, the so-called ‘Frontend Administration’ was implemented, which provides functionalities for the management of events. It is also used by administrators/operators who can carry out their administrative tasks, such as managing providers and managing discounts.
