DCAT-AP currently includes "conforms to" as an optional property for datasets. It would be useful to provide some examples on how it can be used to address a number of use cases. One of them can be taken from INSPIRE, where "conforms to" can be used to express compliance wrt the interoperability requirements defined in the relevant legal acts. This however is just one of the possible cases. E.g., "conforms to" can be used to express compliance wrt to given quality benchmarks, concerning not only data but also data catalogues. A more elaborated example, allowing also to specify, e.g., that compliance was not met or verified, when the check was carried out, with which tool, etc. is illustrated in the reference specification for the INSPIRE profile of DCAT-AP
Proposed solution
Add examples of “conforms to” to address different use cases concerning conformity / data quality
