Goal
The EACAT is a service platform designed to facilitate communication between the Catalan authorities, bidirectional communication channel secure e-both legal and technical between administrations; first between the local government and the Generalitat of Catalonia but increasingly extended to other government departments we parliamentarians (Audit Office, Ombudsman, Parliament of Catalonia, ...), universities, chambers of commerce, etc.
Service Description
EACAT is a processing platform Telematics between Administrations born in 2003. Access to the platform is done through the web www.eacat.cat.
The EACAT is a tool that allows you to:
• Establish a secure electronic communication channel between the Catalan authorities.
• Give legal validity to the documentation sent with the use of electronic signatures.
• Exercising office electronic registry for all inter procedures.
• Provide a platform for running applications.
• Having a complete service customized to each user
• The existence of electronic transactions with full legal validity and technical security administrations Catalan attached. The operating model and design EACAT allows rapid incorporation and deployment of services and applications.
Currently, recipients of services are all municipalities, county councils and provincial Catalan as well as we parliamentarians, public companies and management bodies and Catalan universities. There are also procedures between local authorities.
