About the Webinar

Public administrations increasingly rely on electronic documents as an essential element in the digitisation of their administrative processes. In this Webinar we will present the findings of two studies conducted in the context of Action 2.15 of the ISA Programme on e-Documents. Additionally, the objective of the webinar is to identify the most relevant questions that public administrations have related to e-Documents in the context of digitising paper based inter-organisational administrative processes. This could include topics such as:

• e-Document formats
• e-Document engineering
• e-Document containers
• e-Document security in the context of the new eIDAS regulation
• e-Document archiving and long-term preservation

Susanne Wigard is a Programme Manager in the ISA Unit. She is the responsible project officer for Action 2.15 on e-Documents.

Muriel Foulonneau is a specialist in metadata, semantic interoperability and the quality and usability of data in distributed systems. She has worked with the French ministry of culture and communication on cultural data interoperability, for the National Centre for Scientific Research in France (CNRS) on open access to scientific data and for the University of Illinois on large scale data aggregations, transformation, and mapping. Muriel Foulonneau is the author of multiple publications on metadata, semantic interoperability, open data and data driven services.  She is an active participant of the e-SENS project (ICT-PSP) task on semantic interoperability across e-Government large scale pilots in Europe and is part of the Thematic Network SHARE-PSI 2 on public sector information and Open Data.

 

 

Vassilios Peristeras

is a Programme Manager in the ISA Unit. He is the responsible project officer for Action 1.1 on semantic interoperability. He holds a PhD in eGovernment and is an elected Assistant Professor at the International Hellenic University in Thessaloniki and worked as researcher and consultant in various organisations on the field of e-Government.

 

Oriol Bausà Peris has built up a deep knowledge in platforms and portals of e-Procurement in Europe. During his career he also enhanced his expertise in process modelling and data model definition. As a consultant he regularly worked for governance instances and thus has knowledge on standardization processes in the EU and internationally.

 

 

 

Stijn Goedertier has a Master degree in informatics and business engineering from the Catholic University of Leuven (KU Leuven) and holds a PhD in the field of process mining. Mr. Goedertier joined PwC Technology Consulting in 2008 where he has worked on several projects related to information management, software, and interoperability. Since 2011 he has been working as a contractor for the Interoperability Solutions for European Public Administration (ISA) Programme of the European Commission.

 

 

Dusko Karaklajic holds a PhD degree in cryptography and embedded security from KU Leuven, Computer Security and Industrial Cryptography (COSIC) group. He joined the “Enterprise Advisory” service line of PwC in 2013 and, among others, carried out assignments related to trusted electronic services, secure information exchange, security architecture and risk management for multiple clients.
