The reference data deployment adapter (Redda) is a building block capable of importing, managing, govering and disseminating sematic assets ( metadata and, more specifically, reference data)
Semantic interoperability is fundemental for the development of e-Govermental systems and Redda can be the component which disseminate common semantic assets to a large family of information systems in order to ensure interoperability.
Redda propose :
- import of reference data in SKOS format
- a life cycle for the reference data which is securly controlled via a workflow executed by different profiles
- the updated reference data is offered in synchronization with the authoriative sources which currently include only the European union publication office. The data is delivered to consumer systems on demand via WEB API dedicated client.
