
Event overview
The European Commission’s AI Office, as part of the Apply AI Strategy, is organising the event Info Day “GenAI Meets Public Administrations”, which will take place online on Monday 14 April 2025, from 09:30 to 15:30 CET. The event is aimed at presenting the recently launched Call for Proposals on GenAI Pilots for Public Administrations, under the Digital Europe Programme 2025–2027. With a total budget of €21 million (€5-7 million per project), the call aims to support up to four projects that will implement scalable and replicable European Generative AI solutions in public sector settings.

- Overview of the call, including its objectives, requirements, and expected outcomes
- Q&A session
- Pitching session, to facilitate matchmaking between public administrations and GenAI solution providers (particularly start-ups and SMEs), fostering the creation of future consortia
Second part
- Deep dive into broader Apply AI Strategy, which seeks to accelerate AI adoption across key verticals and in the public sector
- Delving into promising AI solutions with high impact and scalability potential
- Engagement of stakeholders to identify barriers to the adoption of solutions, while proposing appropriate mitigation measures
Participation and registration
All interested parties, including public administrations, start-ups, and SMEs, are encouraged to register via the official event webpage: “GenAI Meets Public Administrations” – Info Day: funding opportunities and future adoption strategies. Participants interested in the pitching session will also find the option to upload a presentation during registration.
