On 11 June 2021 at 17:00 – 18:00 CET, OpenUK is hosting the final “East Coast Edition - Future Leaders” training session. This session will be focused on open source licensing in 2021 and will feature a presentation from Luis Villa, an expert on open source software and licensing with extensive experience in this domain.  

OpenUk’s Future Leaders’ Training: Open Source Licensing in 2021

OpenUK is a British not-for-profit company, promoting open technologies, and more precisely open source software, open hardware and open data in UK. As part of their work, they host a variety of events, including a new series of Future Leaders' Training sessions.

This event is a one-hour training session on open source licensing. It will be presented by Luis Villa, who has worked on some of the most high-profile open source technology projects in the world, including: Tidelift, the Wikimedia Foundation, the revision of the Mozilla Public License, the Open Source Initiative and more.

The training will take place on 11 June 2021 at 17:00 - 18:00 CET.
