What is the #KubeCon #CloudNativeCon conference?
The #KubeCon #CloudNativeCon Europe 2020 conference is a four-day event organised by the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF).
What is the Cloud Native Foundation?
The Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) is a branch of the Linux Foundation, whose aim is to promote and develop open source technologies around the world. The focus of the CNCF is the promotion of cloud native technologies which allow organizations to build and run scalable applications in modern, dynamic environments such as public, private, and hybrid clouds.
The CNCF seeks to promote the adoption of such open source solutions by promoting and sustaining vendor-neutral open source-based projects. Among the projects supported by the CNCF community, we can find the Kubernetes (K8s) project for the development of open source system for automating deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications and the open source monitoring solution Prometheus.
