The second edition of the fOSSa Conference - Free Open Source Software for Academia, is taking place in Grenoble, France, on 8 to 10 November 2010.

The second edition of fOSSa conference aims at answering the following questions: 

  • How does open source software work? 
  • How can we build its future, creating a common useful ecosystem, supported by academia, industry and citizens?

During the three days of the conferences, the speakers will face four different thematic tracks. The first day will focus on open source fundamentals: development, innovation and research. The second day will be dedicated to the evolution of open source in the academic domain and to the democratization that open source software can bring to citizens and the public sector. The third day will face all issues concerning support to and promotion of open source communities.

 

The fOSSa conference is open to everyone, however registration is required.
