Open Government Data and the standardisation of metadata used to explore and find open data sets, apps and documents among > 11.000 German municipalities, 16 Länder and several domain specific portals at federal level is a long running topic in German public administration.
From 13/06/2016 until 25/07/2016 the Open Government Data standard "Entwurf" version was undergoing a public review phase.
