I like the Like button! ;-)
Me too!
At first I was amazed about the large number of users in the community!
25658 users registered with joinup in the last 8 years.
But when I do a closer look at the profiles - it looks more like a non-working captcha than active stakeholders in the field of interoperability.
Do you think there could be a user base with real users only in the future so that one can connect and network without fear? :)
Dear Sebastian, thank you for bringing this point up. Indeed, we are already in the process of applying a user "clean-up", the results of which will become evident in the coming weeks. All dormant or irrelevant user profiles will be removed from the platform, and only active user profiles will be available. This will substantially improve user interaction (and networking) on Joinup.
After cleaning non active users, we have a total of 15 570 users.
I agree with Sebastian, I rely on the concept of interoperability once registered on this platform.
I consider the archive useful together with the rest of the tools.
Looking at the mission of this platform, it is useful to our practice, global thinking more and more, and constantly exercises thinking and analyzing at a macroeconomic and not a microeconomic level.
These platforms are helpful for this purpose and in my opinion, firm work calendars should be established.
BR,
Thank you, Gabriela, for your input. The platform is steadily adding new features and improvements to make it more versatile for its users -- be sure to check regularly for relevant news on these.
We'd also like to mention that the user clean-up has been completed. The existing users are now all active ones, who interact with the platform on a regular basis. Improvements are also being considered for finding more easily other Joinup users, i.e. via the Advanced Search page.
Today, we are cleaning up Joinup and archiving 1500 solutions.
