Interoperability Test Bed software 1.28.0 Switch to the latest release

Release 1.28.0 of the Interoperability Test Bed software is now available.
This release brings a host of new features focusing on community management, integrations and test capabilities. Administrators now have more options for managing self-registration processes and the fine tuning of user permissions. With respect to test configuration, extension services can now be explicitly defined to centralise their settings and enable their monitoring. Health checks also see improvements, with the service health dashboard including a new software update check with automated notifications for new releases and known security issues. These checks are complemented by further system-level customisation options, as well as a startup configuration wizard to easily prepare new Test Bed instances depending on their intended use. Concluding the new system configuration options, the Test Bed now also supports integration with external identity management services through OpenID Connect (OIDC), as an alternative to the Commission-specific EU Login service.
Regarding the Test Bed’s interfaces, this release brings a series of new REST API operations for the lookup and management of configuration information. With respect to the Test Bed’s human interface, multiple user experience improvements were made, enabling paging and searching of most information, as well as new options to manage conformance statements and test execution. Finally, in terms of test capabilities, this release introduces further ways of working with collections, new looping constructs, and numerous new utilities to better manage JSON and YAML data, as well as calls to remote test services.
This new release is online in the Interoperability Test Bed service hosted by DIGIT but is also available for you to set up as a standalone instance. If a standalone instance best matches your needs, the following supporting resources are available:
