Wednesday May 23rd Francesco Mureddu, senior director at the Lisbon Council, presented GovTech Connect at the relaunch event of Futures4Europe – a platform to connect Europe’s foresight community funded by the European Commission. 

The platform is hosted by the Foresight on Demand consortium, a group of individuals and organizations aiming at networking the foresight community in Europe and beyond with a view to support the Research and Innovation Policy of the European Union, its Member States and of countries associated with the EU Framework Programme. Over 160 foresight experts and practitioners took part to the event. Keynote speakers included Marc Lemaitre, Director-General, Directorate General for ‘Research and innovation’, European Commission; Jolita Butkeviciene, Director for Innovation in Science and Policymaking, Joint Research Centre, European Commission.
