Launch of “FinTech Factory MEF”: Supporting Innovation and Cybersecurity in the Public Sector

On Friday, May 9, 2025, at 9:30 AM (CET), the Italian Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF) will host the official launch event of FinTech Factory MEF – Cybersecurity and Innovation Labs of the Treasury Department. This online event will introduce a strategic program designed to support innovative entrepreneurship, particularly startups, spin-offs, and SMEs developing cutting-edge technologies with potential public sector applications.

Promoted by the Treasury Department and funded by the National Cybersecurity Agency, the initiative will provide selected companies with access to virtual innovation labs, validation pathways, and non-repayable grants.

Speakers will include representatives from MEF, academia, finance, and industry. During the event, the first two public calls of the program will be presented.
