iTalks: Session 2: Helping the public sector to develop data skills

In this second session of our iTalks Series, we have the opportunity to sit down with two organizations who are helping the public sector to develop data skills: Open Data Institute (ODI) and PUBLIC. We will receive:

  • Tom PIERONI, Senior Trainer & Learning Manager, from ODI,
  • Thomas CHALK, Director of Data & AI at PUBLIC, responsible for PUBLIC’s data services and capabilities,
  • Elina LAM-GALL, Director of Learning and Workforce Transformation at PUBLIC, where she leads PUBLIC's suite of workforce transformation programmes, including those delivered through our PUBLIC School of Technology

About the organizations: 

The ODI is a non-profit company, founded in 2012 with a mission to work with companies, organizations, public bodies and governments to build an open, trustworthy data ecosystem. ODI has started ODI learning to improve the development of data skills. They offer a majority of courses available for reuse under an open license. Read more...
