OCS 1.3.2 - Viking edition Switch to the latest release

OCS 1.5 is the latest release of ECI Online Collection Software. More information is available in the tab Interoperability Solutions.

This new version 1.3.2-Viking contains some usability and accessibility improvements:

• The row containing the support button at the top of the first page of OCS is duplicated.
• Privacy Statement opens in a new page.
• The CAPTCHA can be refreshed.
• The audio captcha is improved.
• Direct links to the second page of OCS are prevented.

Enhanced security is implemented via the Crypto Tool:

• Strong passwords are now compulsory.
• The Crypto Tool now requires password re-entry following a 5-minute time-out.

It also includes the following changes to validation rules, which had already been corrected since the last release through various patches:

• French Identity Card validation rule amended: 7-character format now alphanumeric.
• French Driving Licence validation rule removed => any Latin alphanumeric value is accepted.
• French Identity Card validation rule amended: the 12-character format is now alphanumeric.
• Italian Identity Card validation rule amended: two additional formats are now supported.
• Italian Passport validation rule amended: simplified for format LLNNNNNNN; two additional formats are now also supported.
• Portuguese Citizen's Card validation rule amended: format extended from 11 to 12 characters. The format is now NNNNNNNNNLLN.
• Swedish Document ID: Customised error message introduced.
• Austrian Passport validation rule amended to include an additional format: LNNNNNNNN (patch released today for version 1.3.1).

Validation patch 2013 01 24 includes a change in the Portuguese "Bilhete de identidade" validation. With this patch, any number from 1 to 8 digits will be accepted.

Validation patch 2013 02 26 includes a change in the Greek ID validation for MySQL environments.
