A new release of the online collection software will take place before 1st April. This new release will include:
- partial validation of identification (document) numbers
- adjustments to the different language versions of the statement of support form, in line with a corrigendum to the Regulation on the citizens' initiative to be published soon.
We therefore recommend potential organisers of citizens' initiatives to make use of this improved version of the software in order to build their online collection system.
Due to a technical problem, two of the validations planned for release of 1st of April will be implemented later a minor release, namely:
- validation of postal codes
- validation of the nationality and/or the country of residence for the countries which do not require ID numbers to be provided
Due to the late publication of the corrigenda to the Regulation on the citizens' initiative (30 March), certain elements of the text of the software still need to be corrected. A new release including the remaining modifications needed will take place in the first week of April 2012.

That's good news. Is this already on svn? I for once would want to be able to let you know if something doesn't work on linux before you release it.

Is is possible for you to switch to an open source development model?
I would really like to help and see the developpement happening here:

Practical aspect as well, could you keep the same branch between minor versions? right now, there isn't any benefit using svn as each branch is a static copy of the downloadable files if I'm correct
Thank's to you in advance. I know this new release version has better structure than the old version. buy zuo modern furniture
